The Happiest Award on Earth

Panini America took home a most prestigious piece of hardware recently that had nothing to do with Kobe Bryant, John Wall, Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow or Alexander Ovechkin. No, the superstars of this particular product were way more animated. Literally.

Panini America took home a most prestigious piece of hardware recently that had nothing to do with Kobe Bryant, John Wall, Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow or Alexander Ovechkin. No, the superstars of this particular product were way more animated. Literally.

During the Disney Consumer Products North America  Sales Meeting Entertainment Showcase held earlier this month at Disneyland, Panini America was honored with the 2010 Product Quality Award for Marketing Impact for its work on the official Toy Story 3 Sticker and Album Collection.

“This a very prestigious award and something that we are extremely proud of,” said Panini America CEO Mark Warsop. “In the 30 years that Panini has been publishing licensed Disney collections, this is only the third honor of this type that the company has won.”

The award pays tribute to “excellence and creativity, committment to the Disney brand, and effective collaboration with the Disney team.”

In 2011, Panini America will be striving for a repeat performance when it launches the official Cars 2 Sticker and Album Collection.

  1. Now you guys have to start making Disney cards! My wife would go nuts! Cut up real animation cels for the cards like you would a jersey and have cards signed by artists & voice actors. Think of the sketch cards you could put in here. This product would be a monster!

  2. my daughters loved the toy story 3 sticker albums! keep up the kid friendly stuff!

i’m a huge fan of your football products and luckily the panini sticker albums are always positioned in the same area!

    congrats!!!
