Panini America’s Target-exclusive 2014-15 Threads Basketball should begin arriving in stores across the country this week, packing three unique configurations (each with its own exclusive content), a great design, compelling photography and several brand staples that made Threads a collector-favorite brand the last time it appeared during the 2012-13 season.

We’ve provided preview coverage of 2014-15 Threads Basketball in recent weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance, focusing primarily on the Premium configuration and the unique Voices of the Game insert. Today, we offer an extended examination of the Wood Rookie Cards exclusive to Threads Blaster Boxes.

Each 20-card Blaster Box will include two Wood Rookie Cards and one exclusive Rookie Threads memorabilia card. To be sure, the Rookie Cards below give new meaning to the term “hardwood” and provide a pungent, woody reminder of their uniqueness.

Enjoy the gallery (which also includes a few of the aforementioned Rookie Threads cards) and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2014-15 Threads Basketball, including tomorrow’s preview of the rare Micro-Etched Rookie Cards exclusive to the product’s Gravity Feed configuration.

  1. So are there SP’s and/or variations for the the Rookie Threads cards?
I pulled a Andrew Wiggins today and he is in a white jersey.

    1. Nevermind I guess I should have read the checklist more carefully, saw Wiggins #4 read no further then checked the bay for pricing. I don’t buy much Basketball and never buy retail (unless it is the only option).
