The Knight’s Lance Reveals . . . John Wall’s Panini HRX Video Trading Card Footage

In a year full of industry-leading innovation for Panini America, perhaps nothing has created more buzz among collectors and the mainstream media than the pioneering Panini HRX Video Trading Cards that were randomly inserted into packs of 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball in July.

In a year full of industry-leading innovation for Panini America, perhaps nothing has created more buzz among collectors and the mainstream media than the pioneering Panini HRX Video Trading Cards that were randomly inserted into packs of 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball in July.

Each of the revolutionary cards — 40 base versions, 10 autographed versions and one Gold autograph version each for Panini America-exclusive athletes Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant and John Wall — includes more than 12 minutes of exclusive video footage and an indescribable “Wow!” factor that must be seen to be believed.

But unless you’re one of the 204 collectors lucky enough to pull one of these landmark technological marvels, you can’t see the exclusive HRX footage. It simply isn’t availble anywhere else . . . until now.

Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll share some of the footage with you here on The Knight’s Lance and on the Panini America Facebook page. And we’ll start with John Wall, since he just so happened to drop by the office last Friday for a signing session and an impromptu review of his own Panini HRX card.

Just like every collector who’s seen one, Wall was blown away, too.

Let’s get to the video:
