The New Routing Table: Donruss Gives Old-School Hoops Fans a Reason to Rejoice

Imagine my utter horror earlier today when I looked up to see former Beckett Hockey Price Guide editor Clint Hall.

Imagine my utter horror earlier today when I looked up to see former Beckett Hockey Price Guide editor Clint Hall.

Although I’m sure Clint gets that a lot, my reaction had nothing to do with him and everything to do with his desk, which had — gasp! — replaced the fabled routing table without any warning whatsoever.

Visibly frazzled, I’m sure I completely glossed over welcoming Hall to Panini America as the company’s new Assistant Brand Manager and frantically went about searching for the doggone routing table. Much to my relief I found it almost immediately, moved back one work station directly behind Hall.

I exhaled, apologized to Hall for appearing so “distant” and then went to take a closer look at the new routing table. On it I found some early printouts of a simply splendid-looking 2010-11 Donruss Basketball set likely to steal quite a bit of thunder when it releases just before Christmas.

Also on the table Monday afternoon were some captivating 2010-11 Crown Royale Hockey routings and Test RIPs, and some new insert artwork from the forthcoming 2010 Century Collection.

To be sure, there are way worse ways to spend 10 Monday minutes than chatting up Clint (for the record, we’re happy to have him on the team) and perusing the brilliance of the routing table.

  1. I am excited, these are cool looking cards. I am a huge fan of 84 Donruss and it’s cool to see the old logo make and appearance.
It looks like there is a place for an auto, will there also be a non auto set?
