Three days later, the afterglow from Panini America’s 2013 Father’s Day promotion is still bright enough to require sunglasses. Whether you got involved at one of the more than 400 hobby shops who took part in the promotion, or online at iCollectPanini.com, we hope you had as much fun participating as we did watching you participate through the miracle of social media.

While dealers across the country continue taking advantage of their remaining 2013 Father’s Day packs, we have two orders of outstanding business that we need to address right now: Announcing the winners of our 2013 Father’s Day picture contest and releasing the complete 2013 Father’s Day checklist.

First, let’s address the contest winners. Actually, first, let’s thank — immensely — all of the shop owners and collectors who documented the Father’s Day fun being had in their stores during the last several days and sent us the images either through email, Twitter or Facebook. After poring through all of the great photos and presenting them to a distinguished panel of Panini America executives, we have selected the five winning photos. Each winner will receive 40 bonus Father’s Day packs (20 for the store owner, 20 for their lucky customer or customers in the the winning photo).

Congratulations to Sports Cards Plus of San Antonio, Sports Center Cards of Omaha, Kinem’s Sports Cards and collector Jonathan Williams, Ryan’s Cardz and Dave & Adam’s Card World of Buffalo. The winning pics are identified in the must-see gallery below. In addition to our winner’s pics, we’ve also compiled a tremendous assortment of Father’s Day-themed images submitted by fans during Sunday night’s #PaniniWildCard Twitter contest for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Check those out, too.

Stay tuned after the gallery for links to the complete Panini America 2013 Father’s Day set checklist in both Excel and PDF formats.

  1. Nice to see creativity and sweet smiles!
    Thumbs up to Panini!
Really! Love that you guys and gals have always give away cool promos like this!
    ^–^

  2. Tracy and everyone at Panini America, you are just flat out AWESOME.

Thanks for posting the photo of my son and I at Sports Center Cards & Collectibles in Omaha. Great shop and we are lucky enough to have a winner.

Kyle and his son Travis will be very excited, as will other customers that were unable to make it to the shop before we ran out of packs…

Thanks for the great promotion and bringing fathers, families, happy faces and great stories into the shop on Father’s Day. I know Jaxson and I had a blast!

  3. Great to have the checklist up finally! It was a blast! Any chance that Panini will ever release the ACTUAL print runs of the cards listed as MAX #XX or LESS?

      1. That would be great if we could get those numbers…I’m a big Clay Matthews collector and was able to get his Super Bowl Pylon Autograph. It would be cool to know its print run.

        Michael

      2. How big is Scott? I can send ya a crowbar and I am 6’4″ 235 lbs if you think that might help, lol

  4. My son is now famous!!! He is on here twice LOL!! Thanks for all of the promotions you guys do. Best in the business by far!!!

  5. Panini America,
Thanks for another great promotion. Customers love the Father’s Day Packs. We still have a few hundred packs left that we will continue to give to customers with their purchase of great Panini products.

  6. Thanks so much to everyone at Panini! Love that I will be able to bust some more of the Father’s Day packs with my daughter, as well as my LCS/fellow local collectors being rewarded by the contest. Hoping we will be able to thank everyone in person in Chicago!

  7. Some great pics! Wished my Twitter one had made it but thats okay. Love seeing the smiles and once again another great job by Scott, Tracy and the Panini team.

This promo is one of the best! Now time to countdown to the Black Friday one 🙂

  8. Great job by everyone involved in this, some really excellent photos. I have the same tattoo as the guy in “Panini America 2013 Fathers Day Contest 12” on my leg! Thanks Tracy!

  9. The packs were great – But lets stop the people on u-tube that open 200 packs because thier dealers.

It should be about the collectors who support these stores.

I spent $1200.00 and only received 10 packs. Thats Nuts !!

There is never enough packs, I think its time that Panini Police Them.

    1. Agree with Mike if that is the truth. I spent a ittle under $200 and got 6 packs from a small card shop I found by me

  10. Better then last years fathers day promotion!!! And I do agree with Mike! certain dealers receive these packs and decide to open them there selfs! Panini should come up with something so that the ones that do purchase there items will only receive the packs!

    1. Hey, guys thanks for the support.
I hope Panini steps up and stops the dealers from making a profit, instead of giving to thier loyal customers.

  11. Thank you for the checklist. I too, would like to learn more of the individual numberings, but at least the MAX numbers are good for now. It was a great promotion!!!

Unfortunately the one store that I was near on my travels in MD for Fathers Day said that they did not get their packs from their distributor.

  12. Thank you very much for the opportunity to get some great cards . I did pretty good and enjoyed myself. But the thrill of opening something that you have no idea what to expect and finding some great cards is, well , fun . The hobby needs more fun in the chase and not just when you hit. By the way my Duron Carter auto/mem is sweet thanks.

  13. I know I’m a couple weeks late, but why are there no cards listed for the Prizm Hockey Father’s Day Set? Also I’ve seen Cracked Ice versions on the secondary market, so I’m guessing those parallels are also missing.
    Thanks…
