The Panini America QC Gallery & Checklist: 2012-13 Classics Signatures Hockey

November 29, 2012

Make no mistake about it: Panini America’s 2012-13 Classics Signatures Hockey is the right release at the right time — and there might not be a more appropriate product name the rest of the season. An old-school-hockey lover’s dream,  this one-autograph-per-pack gem is filled with, as its name suggests, classic signatures galore.
Graced with a refreshingly simplistic throwback design and a checklist that reads like a best-selling hockey history book, Classics Signatures is steeped in on-card autographs and marks the anticipated return of Panini America’s Social Signatures and Notable Nicknames inserts.

Although most six-pack boxes will deliver six autographs, there are randomly inserted Hot Boxes that will yield eight autographs. Earlier this week, Panini America’s Chris Barr and Karvin Cheung placed Classics Signatures under heavy scrutiny during the quality control process. The following gallery details just some of their prize pulls.
After you’ve had your way with the gallery, stick around for two different checklists — one covering the set and another documenting the SPs. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts on what you see here, as well as what you’ll find yourself when the product releases next Wednesday.
Enjoy.
