The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey (30 Images)

My beautiful wife. My two wonderful sons. Sleeping in my own bed. The packout process for 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey. Yep, those are the five things I missed the most while being on the road the last two weeks.

My beautiful wife. My two wonderful sons. Sleeping in my own bed and not across from Joe White, Chris Reed or Scott Prusha. The packout process for 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey. Yep, those are the five things I missed the most while being on the road the last two weeks.

Last Friday, while the Panini America marketing team was running point on multi-level marketing activation at Super Bowl XLVI, the NFL Experience and the Pop Warner Panini Classic, the product development guys back home were fine-tooth combing 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey, making sure it was ready for launch next week.

And judging by the results of the gallery that follows, Crown Royale is way ready, equipped with the classic Silhouettes and Rookie Silhouettes that need no introduction to the unique die-cutting of Heirs to the Throne to the compelling Voices of the Game autographs to, well, everything.

In the coming days, we’ll post the final product checklist. But until then, take this opportunity to become intimately familiar with just some of Crown Royale’s regal possibilities.

  1. Looks good to me! Crown Royale is one of the best products on the card market. Absolutely love the Silhouettes and Rookie Silhouettes. Those are some of the most unique most collectible cards out there!

  2. I hope those Voices of the Game Autos are extras in the packs they are in, I will be very upset if I pay $90+ for a pack of cards and get an announcers auto. Im still angry about UD putting figure skater autos in 09-10 Hockey. Please Panini, be smart enough to know people are spending a lot of money to get nice cards of pro athletes, specifically hockey players if they buy NHL cards or football players if they buy NFL etc. (Don’t make me make any Animal Farm references ! ) Keep up the good work.

  3. Damn those look good Tracy, thanks for the sneak peek. Can’t wait to bust a few boxes next week. More Private Signings, here I come! Any word on if there will be a Rick Nash in the ‘Scratching the Surface’ set this year? And if so, did he do the ones from last year as well? I still have 3 outstanding redemptions. 😉

And once again, it was great finally meeting you in person in Ottawa Tracy, glad you got home safe after your travels.

  4. Hi Tracy,

Great looking set as always. I have a question, any Carl Hagelin (New York Rangers) Autograph cards coming let me know. Have many people asking me.

    Thanks,

    Tony
