The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011-12 Prime Hockey (Process Continues)

You just thought you saw everything there was to see from the 2011-12 Prime Hockey QC process yesterday. The fact of the matter is that Panini America NHL Brand Manager Chris Barr spent well into Monday evening at the company printing facility ensuring everything in the product was falling as it should.

You just thought you saw everything there was to see from the 2011-12 Prime Hockey QC process yesterday.  The fact of the matter is that Panini America NHL Brand Manager Chris Barr spent well into Monday evening at the company printing facility ensuring everything in the product was falling as it should.

As a result, Barr unearthed the following gems from the product after we posted our last update late yesterday afternoon. But since we figured there’s no better way to start your Tuesday than exactly how you ended your Monday — checking out the sweet hits possible in 2011-12 Prime Hockey.

Among the choice hits hitting in the QC case last night: A Gordie Howe Prime Signatures, a few Prime Time Rookies and the cool Showcase Swatches. Luckily for all of us, Barr snapped a few pics before inserting the cards back into packout.

Enjoy.

  1. Are Prime Namesakes manufactured letter patches?

Can’t wait to get a better look at Showcase Swatches and Collision Course – I bet pictures don’t do them justice.

    1. The Prime Namesakes are indeed Manufactured letter patches.

Genuine Marks are autographed Game Used letters.

      Hope that helps!

  2. Gallery if of the DROOL variety! Really like the Showcase swatches and the use of a dark color in the back and a bright color in the front..they really stand out. This looks like an amazing hockey product…lockout or not..this product is a winner.

And Howe can you go wrong with pulling Gordie?

  3. On another note im watching ESPNs First Take and Anthony Davis just came on wit his rookie card from Hoops on the side of him with Your guys Panini back ground! Now thats how u put your product out there!!!!
