While most of Panini America spent last week on an international business trip to Italy, hockey honcho Karvin Chueng was hard at work back home, carefully scrutinizing the packout process for 2011-12 Score Hockey, the fun-for-all-ages product due out everywhere next week.

While most of Panini America spent last week on an international business trip to Italy, hockey honcho Karvin Chueng was hard at work back home, carefully scrutinizing the packout process for 2011-12 Score Hockey, the fun-for-all-ages product due out everywhere next week.

After Cheung completed the task and ensured that everything was falling as it should, he conducted the all-important quality control check on the first case off the line. The following gallery details just some of the goods that first case delivered.

  1. If Score hockey 2011-2012 was anything like Score football 2011 its going to be an amazing product. And from the looks of whats on here…I bet it will be.

  2. I agree with the above about being like 2011 Score football and it looks even better. Super psyched for this as I had a ton of fun with the football product.

But no NHL shield die-cuts pulled or just not scanned?

  3. Will there be a checklist for the autographs as well, as last year many of the auto’s were very short printed yet not serial numbered. Would be nice to know what ones are the short prints!

Will there be rookie redemption autos again this year like last year?

  4. Will there be base variations? From what I heard there are …I have an Ovi that does not match the picture on your sneak peek could it be a variation? Are you posting variation checklist if there is one?As far as the product goes I like it …it delivers big bang for the buck…I also like the new insert inclusions……very well thought out and nicely done……

      1. Wait… what? Variations? That blows my have/want list up… but what the heck, more options are always better! I’m just now getting my first cards in hand and I have to say, the set looks awesome so far. I particularly like the shield die cuts. Can’t wait to get more on who has variations. Great entry to the 2011-12 collecting season.

  5. what’s that i hear about photo variations? Any way of knowing how i would know if i have one?
Odds would be nice although i dont know if you are allowed to post them…
