The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011 National Treasures Football

I would've posted this particular gallery much earlier today, but the fact of the matter is this: I've been speechless for the last several hours, literally left with nothing to say -- or type -- after seeing, for the first time, the world's longest trading card that will be inserted via redemption in next week's release of 2011 National Treasures Football.

I would’ve posted this particular gallery much earlier today, but the fact of the matter is this: I’ve been speechless for the last several hours, literally left with nothing to say — or type — after seeing, for the first time, the world’s longest trading card that will be inserted via redemption in next week’s release of 2011 National Treasures Football.
The mere sight of such a history-making collectible — which we’ll unveil to the collecting masses in the coming days — is enough to derail anyone’s afternoon. But I’ve finally recovered and I’m ready to get back on track with this previously scheduled 2011 National Treasures Football quality control gallery.

For the record, the images you’re about to see — just some of the possibilities available in one of the most anticipated football products of the 2011 season — surfaced during the recent quality control process conducted at the Panini America printing facility.
As you’re about to witness, 2011 National Treasures Football is equipped with a fresh roster of designs, a checklist that reads like an NFL history book and a handful of new inserts including the spectacular, gold-blazer-inspired Hall of Fame Patch Autographs.
Along with 2011 Panini Playbook, National Treasures promises to end the 2011 NFL product season with a bang. You can access additional coverage of this year-end blockbuster by clicking the links below.

  1. Awesome Job Panini! AGAIN! Amazing cards here! I am SURE to get some of these beauties! I hope I can land the Andy Dalton dual Prime Patch your showing here OR the Cam Newton! I G+1 to ALL my Circles on this one! Awesome Stuff! TWO Thumbs up!

  2. This years National Treasures look amazing. Unfortunately I live in Delaware and have never pulled a Cam Newton Auto can we do something about that Panini? This years Football all were spectacular. Keep up the great work and I’m definitely looking forward for the 2012 products to arrive.

    1. Hey Giantsland, if you want to see a Cam Newton autograph from NT, keep an eye out for Beckett’s box break if you know what I mean!

  3. I think i need a bib too after seeing more pics of National Treasures!! I already have 2 boxes ordered for next week and i cant wait to bust them open, but very slowly though. I have to savor the moment and slide each card slowly as i hope for a big hit. Do you do the same thing Tracy when u open packs? Im like a kid on Christmas with every pack i open.

      1. I don’t have the checklist. When I get it, I will post it and will likely be on our website, too. And I try to respond as much as possible to everything; not just fluff.

  4. You guys did an excellent job once again this year with the product everyone is looking most forward to! I just don’t have any words to say about this product, just totally speechless from all the Gallery pictures that I’ve seen so far. Great Job! yeyeye

  5. Amazing, amazing, and um, AMAZING!!! Once again you all have outdone yourselves. Panini definitely produces the highest quality products in the industry. I cannot wait for my case to arrive. Licking my chops over here.
Thanks again and keep up the great work! Pictures and cards look great!

  6. Tracy, are we going to get a sneek peek at the checklist or do we have to wait for it to come out? Thanks and i cant wait to bust some of this stuff!

  7. The RPA’s for National Treasures (both basketball and football) are the best looking cards being made by anyone right now. Definitely gonna go after an AJ Green…

  8. I love how National Treasures has such a wide variety of players from the past and the present. I was looking at the images and saw a Mark Carrier card from the Bears. Its awesome to get reminded of great players, and even pieces of stuff they wore. Thats the stuff, I love collecting. Love to show it to my kids and tell them stories about football when I was growing up and how special it really is to me! Hopefully others can enjoy these remarkable pieces of history. I dont think Panini knows how much us collectors really love them for what they do. Its a huge part of my life and always will be! Looks like an unique product and I cant wait to open a box!

  9. Hey Tracy, I’m already in for a group break (Seahawks and Chargers…hope for some good stuff!) and a single box. My question is if there will be any James Laurinaitis in the product? If so, just base or will there be autos or patches? Thanks and continue the great work on the always TOP DOG National Treasures!

    1. Appreciate your kind words, Anthony. Just confirmed with NFL Brand Manager Carlos Torrez that Laurinaitis will not be in the set as we had completed our supply of autographs and memorabilia.

  10. How many redemptions will this product have and I am sure a Todman and Powell are waiting for me in my case!!!!!! 🙁
