The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011 Prestige Football (47 Must-See Images)

You've got to admire the commitment of the Panini America football team. No matter when duty calls, Ben Ecklar and Carlos Torrez are up to the task.

You’ve got to admire the commitment of the Panini America football team. No matter when duty calls, Ben Ecklar and Carlos Torrez are up to the task.

Take, for example, this past Saturday. A day typically reserved for leisure took a decided vocational turn when the first few quality control cases of 2011 Panini Prestige Football were in need of some serious scrutinizing. Hey, trading card production knows no downtime.

Gallantly, Torrez and Ecklar were up to the task of taking time out of their weekend and busting a few boxes fine-tooth combing the first officially licensed NFL card set of the season. What’s more, they briefly confiscated the following gems pulled during the QC process so that we could scan them.

We hope you enjoy the fruits of their labor by methodically perusing this exclusive first-look gallery. 2011 Prestige Football begins shipping this week and will be live everywhere May 25.

  1. Can you answer 2 questions?

Is Cam Newton and Mark Ingram going to have Autographed cards in Prestige?

Also…is there a checklist for Prestige yet?

    Thanks and God Bless!!!

  2. I dig the design on the League Leaders, Passports and Inside the Numbers cards.
    Good job, Panini!
