I found myself immersed in a hardcore hoops hobby nirvana last Friday at the Panini America printing facility as two of Panini America’s basketball behemoths — 2012-13 Totally Certified and 2012-13 Prizm — were running on two different production lines simultaneously.
My ADD ventured into blissful overdrive as Panini America NBA brand brethren Keith Hower, Wes Elliott and Cory Hollingsworth took turns opening packs to reveal the dazzling technological and aesthetic wizardry of both products, all in the name of ensuring that everything was falling as it should before the products started shipping.
From the prismatic pleasures of Prizm to the stunning rainbow array of etching at work in Totally Certified, I departed the production facility Friday afternoon feeling equal parts hypnotized, intoxicated and quite certain that both products will find a place of prominence in the hearts and collections of hoops aficionados in the coming weeks.
But for the purposes of this post, we’re going to focus solely on the myriad benefits of 2012-13 Totally Certified Basketball, which will be live Wednesday and should provide collectors plenty to be thankful for — that much should be redundantly evident during the course of the next 74 images.
As you’ll see, David Porter, Hower and the rest of the Panini America NBA team have crafted a worthy follow-up to a 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball release regarded by most experts as one the best new releases of that season.

These cards look fantastic…love the 1/1 stamp you are using now! Thanks for showing off some nice Nash cards too!
Cheers
Matt
I missed that, you’re right! Looks very nice!
Taken directly from Upper Deck’s old cards lol. But I think it looks great, and UD doesn’t even really count as a producer anymore with all their lame college uniform stuff, so I’ll gladly take it. Love the product Tracy!
Is the Kyrie Irving prime, game worn or player worn? thxs for the peek!
Game-worn.
Wow, game worn mem, are there any other Panini “12-13” Rookie with Game Worn mem in the product, mostly from the 2011 class – ie Tristan Thompson, Jimmer etc?
It will indeed be a very very thankful Thanks giving!
Thanks Tracy for providing us with a great preview and always love the checklist.
This is totally certified awesome blog!!!
Great job!
have a peaceful and safe Thanksgiving everyone!
No Lillard? Also noticed that Harden still in OKC, will he be in HOU is Prizm? Nice cards though
No Lillard autos. I think Harden will be pictured as a Rocket after Prizm.
Oh man haha you know I need that Ersan!
Maybe you can give these cards away and I can get a chance at getting it from whoever wins it!
Sharp looking cards!! I really like the inclusion of some of the greats of the game!!
Nice looking gallery for the new TC, digging the photos of Nash in a LAL uniform. Thanks Tracy!
Those are Awesome Treats!!!
Thanks Tracy and Panini for another sure hit!
Love Panini!!!
I rarely kiss Paninis butt however, these are extremely nice and an upgrade from last year! I like the 1/1 stamp and the design of the patches like on the Irving!
Thanks for the kind words.
Totally Awesome Tracy! Definitely can’t wait! A real treat for us basketball collectors these next couple of weeks with these awesome products!

This product and Prizm are going to make my 2012-13 Basketball season complete I think! So far my favorite product of the year had been Threads. But it looks like Threads may have just got bumped to 2nd! One more thing, Tracy when are the Reggie Jackson autos going to stop? haha I love my Thunder to the death and all but I can’t recall the last time iv seen him play! Keep it up! Looking great!
