The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012 Playbook Football (71 Sweet Pics)

The last few days at Panini America HQ have been nothing short of, well, fantastically frenetic. Between hand-collating 2012 National Treasures Football, shipping 2012-13 Select Basketball, and packing out both 2013 Triple Play Baseball and 2012 Playbook Football, it's safe to say that things are taking place at a blistering pace. So blistering, in fact, that we're bringing you the Quality Control Gallery for Playbook on Saturday of a holiday weekend.

The last few days at Panini America HQ have been nothing short of, well, fantastically frenetic. Between hand-collating 2012 National Treasures Football, shipping 2012-13 Select Basketball, and packing out both 2013 Triple Play Baseball and 2012 Playbook Football, it’s safe to say that things are taking place at a blistering pace. So blistering, in fact, that we’re bringing you the Quality Control Gallery for Playbook on Saturday of a holiday weekend.

You already know that the highly anticipated follow-up to one of last season’s best debut products includes the likes of Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Doug Martin, but there’s so much more to 2012 Playbook Football than just three of the top rookies of 2012. There’s also a whole new checklist of dramatically redesigned memorabilia booklets, rookie autographs and legendary memorabilia cards — and you’re about to see some of all of that in the gallery that follows.

This particular QC gallery includes just some of the contents from one case, but it should shed some additional light on exactly what you can expect when Playbook releases next week. Enjoy this extended preview and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance next week for additional coverage, including a must-see edition of Panini Unwrapped.

  1. 71 Sweet Pics? I’m sorry, but seeing a bunch of plain white, plain blue, or plain black is just not cutting it out for me on “sweet pics” –

  2. I would do anything to get my hands onto a box of this. I really wanted to bust a 2011 but didn’t a chance too. Booklet cards are just great to look at and I am really feeling this years design.
