If Tom Hanks taught us anything about America's pastime, it's that there's no crying in baseball. Of course, there's no real off-season in baseball, either -- which is why Panini America is making plans for a banner week on the diamond.

The collecting schedule this week boasts an absolutely dynamic double header of heavy-hitting baseball products from Panini America. 2012 Cooperstown Baseball, which we previewed with an extensive QC gallery last week, finally releases on Wednesday. One day later, 2012 Signature Series Baseball hits hobby shops across the country packing three autographs, one elegant design and tons of baseball star power in every box.
Panini America’s Ben Ecklar and Mike Payne were busy putting the finishing touches on the product during the Quality Control process last week. As you’ll see in the revealing gallery that follows, 2012 Signature Series Baseball has a little something for everyone — autographs from current MLBPA superstars, Hall of Famers and some of the coolest embroidered patch cards to date, highlighted by Rated Rookie and MLBPA logo versions.
Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance later this week for a must-see episode of Panini Unwrapped starring 2012 Signature Series. But until then, enjoy this 56-image appetite-whetter . . .
Very cool, I like the baseball seam cards and postage stamp ones.
Very Cool! Can’t wait! I LOVE the RATED ROOKIE patch auto cards. Unique!
Like the rated rookie Signatures!
Those cards look really nice. Nice twist on the rated rookie cards! Now those bring me back!
I love the look of this product! I think I’m going to be collecting the Proof set. Gold autos on the black backgrounds would’ve been a nice touch, but maybe we can see that another year.
they look so cool
I can’t help but think of Wayne’s World when I see these cards. EXTREME CLOSE-UP! Wooowooowooowooowooo.
Is Jordan Pacheco in the product?
Sorry to report that he is not in this set.
This set has lots of facial hair
Just be glad its not a Basketball set. Imagine James Harden!
Those signed baseball cards look awesome! And by that I mean the ones where the card features a piece of a baseball that is signed, not just a “regular” card that is signed.
If you continue to make baseball cards…we will come (to buy them)
Super awesome- still have yet to score a Mike Trout auto… This set can help me overcome that challenge:) Great work Panini!
liking the look of this product!
Glad to hear that.
Well done. Love the upclose, in your face (and theirs) photos.
Was this stuff made exclusively for gas stations and dollar stores? That’s ugly stuff.
Are there any current Cincinnati Reds players in this set?
Excellent looking cards, still not seeing that one signature I’ve been hoping for in a Panini product though 🙁 Thanks for the preview Tracy!
Very nice looking set love the Signature Stamp cards and the Rose Auto!
Is THERE a checklist!
Working on getting it now.
Thanks Tracy!!!
Is Hanley Ramirez a Dodger in this product or Marlin?
According to the checklist I have, he’s a Dodger.
Cool on card content. MSRP should be around $90
