Panini America’s second release of the 2013-14 NBA season (hot on the heels of the brilliant 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball) hits hobby shops next Wednesday delivering two autographs and two memorabilia cards per box. More than that, though, Prestige impresses with a diverse array of inserts that no doubt will appeal to multiple generations of NBA fans. Keep reading to see exactly what we mean.
In the Quality Control Gallery that follows, we examine seemingly every aspect of 2013-14 Prestige Basketball, including the completely updated — and tough-to-pull — Playmakers insert and the breath-of-fresh-air design and checklist Prestigious Premieres Signatures.
After you check out the gallery, stick around for details on The Knight’s Lance NBA Tipoff Contest for a chance to win free boxes of 2013-14 Prestige Basketball.
OK, now that you’ve enjoyed the gallery, it’s time for the contest. We’re giving away 10 boxes of 2013-14 Prestige Basketball and here’s how we’re doing it:
- First, we want your selections for 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA MVP and NBA champion (leave them as a comment to this post)
- Second, we want to know what one rookie and what one veteran you’re collecting this season
- Finally, we’ve hidden (i.e. reduced the size of, perhaps dramatically obscured and made a little more transparent) the following Panini knight logo into one of the images in the above gallery. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find it and tell us on what image you found it.
Please leave all of your answers in one comment to this post.
We’ll wait to approve all comments until after the entry deadline, which is TONIGHT (October 29, 2013) at 11:59 p.m. CST, so your comment will appear to you as “pending moderation.” That’s our way of protecting your answers to the Scavenger Hunt so that everyone else can’t see them. To that end, we kindly ask that you keep your Scavenger Hunt answers to yourself until after the deadline. We want to reward those folks who’ve taken the time and effort to find the hidden image.
We’ll then place all correct entries into an online randomizer to select 10 winners.
Good luck and thanks in advance for participating. Just to be clear, the image you’re looking for is the one that appears as the lead image of this post and it looks like this:
