For 2013, Panini America officials have added a host of new Prizm parallels, including hobby-only Orange Prizm Die-Cuts numbered to 50 and Hobby Jumbo-exclusive Purple Cracked Ice, Light Blue Pulsar and Light blue Pulsar Die-Cuts; on the retail side, the striking Green Prizms return to accentuate the new Red Pulsar, Blue Pulsar and stunning Camouflage Prizms.
Hobby-only Gold Prizms (numbered to 10) and Finite Black Prizm 1/1s also make a triumphant return. To get collectors properly prepared for next Wednesday’s release of 2013 Prizm Football, we proudly present the following comprehensive Quality Control Gallery. Enjoy the sights and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance in the coming days for additional coverage.
Could we get less rookie autos in the future? Between Panini and that other card company seemingly having the same mid-round rookies signing everything in sight, I’m just not interested in any more football product boxes this year.
Rookies sign for cheaper than vets who want a lot of $ (because they don’t need it as much) or simply don’t want to sign a lot of autos (if any)
These look beautiful, they really do!
But as a Chiefs fan, I have to laugh at the AJ Jenkins auto card. He has 1 reception for 6 yards in a season and a half in the NFL. Is someone supposed to be excited by that? Again, as a Chiefs fan, bring on the Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, Brandon Flowers, Sean Smith, Eric Berry and Dontari Poe autographs! Now those would be exciting!
Sorry for the negativity, as I really do appreciate the really high quality sets you all put together. Just wish as a fan it wasn’t so fantasy football focused. (Still looking for Pro-Bowler Dustin Colquitt’s first football card!)
Appreciate the feedback, Jeremy. I’ll take a peek at the checklist and see what other Chiefs autos are in there.
Completely agree, your products need waaaay more veterans and retired guys in it!
How cool would these be with guys like Butkus, Starr, etc?
Nice gallery, I have a sneaking suspicion that we’ll get a chance to look at all these in depth in a future scavenger hunt 🙂
Thanks Tracy!
Yes PLEASE haha I want that 1 of 10 Pitta Auto BIG TIME and Prizm is AWESOME again this go round BRING on The Scavenger Hunt Mr HACKLER
Is it possible to put oncard autos on a Prizm card? Those cards are awesome! Me and my son appreciate a lot! Thanks.
Nice overall and oooooooo shiny!
Love the cards! Do I sense a scavenger hunt in the near future??? 😉
Tracy, is there anyway to confirm for me if Matt Elam has color variations and/or autos in this? Ive got a large collection of his already and would LOVE to complete the rainbow from prizm. Thanks bud.
awesome…love the product across the board
Looks good as usual.
Why did you guys get rid of the superfractor-like finish on the finites?
We didn’t. There’s a story there with the particular cards shown that we’ll elaborate on early next week.
outstanding as usual!
Scavenger HUNT PLEASE………
That Dunbar and the Dwayne Harris 🙁 You had to do it to me Tracy!! Looks great. The green’s retail again? Orange die-cuts as well to /60 Love that set
Yes, sir. The Greens are retail again.
Hey Tracy,
What is the difference in the black bordered vet autos and the regular silver ones?
Working on a post about that right now. Will have it live in the morning.
