Indeed, next week’s release of Panini America’s 2013 Rookies & Stars Football is equipped with everything longtime brand loyalists have come to love about the product — and then some. And in the massive Quality Control Gallery that follows, seemingly all of it is on vibrant display.

About the only thing you won’t see in the gallery below is the simply splendid Crusade insert, which we felt so strongly about that we honored it with its own gallery late yesterday afternoon. But everything else that makes 2013 Rookies & Stars Football so compelling can be previewed and appreciated below in advance of the product releasing in hobby shops everywhere on Wednesday.

So enjoy this extended sneak peek (hey, it’s Friday, your boss will understand) and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2013 Rookies & Stars Football next week.

  1. Can’t wait to see some more of the ‘Team Chemistry’ Autos. Also, great to see DJ Hayden featured again! A little OT here, but the Elite checklist has DJ Hayden featuring autos. Do they exist?! I have not seen one pop up in any break or online at all.

  2. Any word on Travis Frederick Autographs Tracy. Love all the football stuff so far, and can’t wait for more. Keep up the sweet work, and thanks for the sneak peak.

  3. Wow! Very nice product. Like the addition of action photo’s. The rookies not being signed in the base set it new and I like it.

    1. I mean, R&S always had base rookie but not of top stars. I like this addition. Makes a base set easier. The inserts look spectacular as well. Always a fan of Slideshow autos

  4. Wow, great gallery THack. Love the vertical swatches on the horizontal cards, and with autos? So hot… they made my Zach hErtz!
Personally, and this is a small criticism, I find the base cards a little too embellishment heavy, as opposed to permitting the photography to speak for itself. But the embarrassment of auto-memorabilia riches render this product one of my annual favorites. Loving the inclusion of the Hali auto/mem’… “Slideshow” is super sweet as well.
    Enjoy the weekend?!

  5. Looks great.

I like the Banner-like Vertical names on the regular cards as well as the vertical rectangular swatches on the jersey cards. Jersey cards have gotten so common, it is nice to see a different twist on a familiar theme.
