The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2013 Score Football Hobby (106 Images)

I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong -- and I was wrong about 2013 Score Football. I've said all along that this year's 25th anniversary edition of the product might be one of the best yet. Turns out there's nothing "might" and "one of" about it. In my humble hobby opinion, 2013 Score Football is, quite simply, the best one yet.

I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong — and I was wrong about 2013 Score Football. I’ve said all along that this year’s 25th anniversary edition of the product might be one of the best yet. Turns out there’s nothing “might” and “one of” about it. In my humble hobby opinion, 2013 Score Football is, quite simply, the best one yet.

I got my first look at the hobby jumbo version of Panini America’s first 2013 NFL product of the season earlier this afternoon and have been gushing about it ever since. From the classic design of the Rookie Cards (and their Purple and Black hobby parallels) to the rich autograph and memorabilia content to the fantastic photography to the myriad collectible parallels, there’s a definite rockstar aura to 2013 Score Football (and absolutely zero redemptions) sure to send it rocketing up the charts when it releases later this week.

But don’t simply take my word for it. Take a look for yourself at the revealing and massive Quality Control gallery that follows and judge for yourself. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.

  1. Ohhhhh yeaaaaaaa love the 1989 Throwback style!!! Even better….. the Mohamed Sanu PUTCHHHHHHH!! RUTGERS baby!! Hope there’s some Jamison, Khaseem and Logan Ryan autos in there!

  2. Very nice cards! Sucks that Richard Seymour is included for the Raiders though. He has been a Free Agent since long before Matt Flynn was traded for and Carson Palmer was traded away and yet they can get those guys right. That spot could have been used for an actual Raider! Someone like Stefen Wisniewski, Jared Veldheer, Tyvon Branch or Marcell Reece would have been way better!

  3. I really like the hot rookies parallels. This may be a dumb question but What is an artist proof?

  4. “Wow” that is what my son said when he saw this. He is begging to do a break. Guess I better hook the kid up. Great set! No Redemptions, YES!

  5. Best gallery in a long time. Love the vet photos, especially Ponder and Luck. And the retro inscription autos with guys like Cecil Shorts and Jerod Mayo in the set.

  6. I am just stunned how you guys took a lower end product, still kept it that way but massively made it a higher end feel. Great photography, design, and mem and auto cards, and inserts are amazing. One more day…one more day….one more day…

  7. This may be the best Score release ever. The photography on the base cards are amazing (I’m partial to the Luck jumping), the inclusion of both plates (love the Werner) and prime mem cards along with autos give the product unbelievable value. Thanks Tracy!

  8. The memorabilia cards look great! Is there any other subsets of memorabilia besides franchise fabrics this year? If possible is there a stated odds for memorabilia and autos in retail? Thanks again-
