Boasting photography and content that's as rich, as colorful and as harmonious as the iconic band it was created to honor, Panini America's 2013 The Beach Boys trading card set surfs into stores nationwide next week equipped with 50 years worth of history, memories and good times. Panini America officials this week had the distinct opportunity to quality control the product before it shipped and as you'll see in the gallery that follows, the process went quite, well, swimmingly.

In addition to delivering a 120-card base set filled with classic Beach Boys photography spanning the last five decades, the first Beach Boys trading-card tribute ever created also includes autographs and concert-worn memorabilia from all five living band members — Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston.
The autograph cards are limited to 70 or less and are available in both hobby and retail versions of the product. Each band member appears on four different memorabilia cards that are exclusive to hobby-versions of the product and fall roughly two per box. Panini America also created retail-exclusive commemorative guitar picks for all seven founding members of The Beach Boys — including deceased members Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson. Pick variations include Album Logo, Picture, The Beach Boys and the band member’s name.
Panini America’s 2013 The Beach Boys set also packs several poignant inserts, including the die-cut and micro-etched Gold Albums and On The Record, and tributes to the legendary tunes that have made The Beach Boys immortal in Sounds of Summer and Top 10 Hits.
There’s much more to see in the gallery that follows. In short, the product is a spectacular effort befitting one of the most spectacular muscial acts of all time. Enjoy the images and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2013 The Beach Boys in the coming days.

Surfer girl my little surfer girl
Very cool!
I know that Press Pass was trying to get an AC/DC set off the ground a few years ago. Panini should start looking to do that set, would be HUGE! Band Autos plus some Cut autos of Bon Scott.
Nice variety of regular cards and inserts. Cool. I especially like the very colorful “concert gear” cards
What is the release date, is this hobby only???
There are hobby and retail versions. Both $2.99 per pack. The product will be live next week.
Pretty cool!
I can’t wait to pull base card #1 so I can tell someone “Now what’s a matter buddy ain’t you heard of this card, it’s #1 in the set!”
Looks like a solid tribute to these music legends, is there a contest to win a trip to Kokomo? Thanks Tracy!
Funny.
About 20 years ago, my wife bought us tickets to a Beach Boy concert in Las Vegas. We had tickets Third Row, Center Stage Isle. We took tons of pictures. On the way back to our hotel, we left the camera in the cab.
These cards are great. Next best thing to the pictures we lost.
