The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2015-16 Threads Basketball (100+ Pics)

Panini America Threads Target

Any day now, Panini America’s 2015-16 Threads Basketball will arrive on Target store shelves across North America, the second time in as many years that the popular NBA release will appear exclusively in Target stores. Picking up right where last year’s stacked release left off, 2015-16 Threads Basketball returns with its trademark — and SKU-specific — Wood, Leather and Micro-Etched Rookie Cards, the compelling Voices of the Game autograph chase and a rich roster of base cards, inserts and parallels honoring the game’s greatest current stars, retired legends and hottest rookies.

We brought you a detailed first look at the product a few weeks back, but today we’re emptying our sizable camera roll of more than 100 images taken during the recent Quality Control and Packout processes.

As you’ll see, 2015-16 Threads Basketball is loaded with variety, great photography, parallels, autographs, memorabilia and the dastardly short, die-cut Century Stars. In short, there’s something for everyone. Check it all out in the extensive gallery that follows and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

  1. Great photography, with the first 2015-16 action shots of rookies. Disappointed in yet another set with sticker autographs. You would be better served, on these basic sets, to removing those autographs (which are not in demand) an lower the cost of the product.

  2. perhaps you could negotiate with Target Australia (I understand they are not linked to Target US/Canada) to see if they would be interested in carrying basketball cards.

  3. Those Triple Patches and game used patches on some cards looks nice.
I love the variations of different card especially collectors who love story chase and complete sets of particular inserts or particular player.
    Thanks Panini America

  4. Well, congrats to all the pack searchers. I stopped shopping for cards a Target because of them, and now they get to have a field day. Congrats

  5. I call this gallery In-Thread-Able! Great looking release overall, considering most of the packaging formats are in box form I think searchers will be generally challenged to find the best hits from this release. Let’s also not forget the Target red card, 5% off any purchase every day! Get to busting, retail roundballers. Thanks Tracy!
