One week from today, Panini America’s first standalone college basketball product — 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball — will arrive in hobby shops across North America equipped with the requisite stable of collectible bells and whistles fans have come to expect from the iconic Contenders brand. In addition to taking the NBA’s biggest current stars back to college, 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball also delivers the 2015-16 NBA Rookie Class in its college uniforms, too.

Following a path previously set by the popular 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football, the rich basketball edition delivers a compelling lineup that features School Colors, Old School Colors, Collegiate Connections, Game Day Tickets, Class Reunion, the fabled College Ticket Autographs and juggernaut parallels like Cracked Ice.

Earlier this week, Panini America’s Jason King spent time at the company production facility helping pack out the product. The following gallery details just some of what he uncovered during the process. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball.

  1. This is good..keep them up tracy, hopefully a flawless college set as well..any chance we can get college cheerleadrs too? Thanks panini

  2. Panini, can’t you return to spectacular on court photography as the core of your cards. Each set makes the whole genre of trading cards look like computer graphics contests. Graphics should subtlety enhance the action photos, not completely eliminate said composition.
