Wednesday promises to be one of the biggest new-product release days of the entire year, what with Panini America launching key products honoring the three major sports (MLBPA, NBA and NFL) in 2016 Donruss Optic Baseball, 2015-16 Noir Basketball and 2016 Clear Vision Football. We’ve given you the Quality Control Gallery previews for Donruss Optic and Noir already. Today, we’re rounding things out by exploring Clear Vision.

The different-by-design Clear Vision concept debuted last year to rave reviews with an all-acetate card stock, some of the coolest card designs of the season and an autograph roster steeped in both scarcity and star power. 2015 Clear Vision Football paved the way for 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball. This week, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s successful debut arrives in hobby shops across North America with a few acetate-stocked tricks up its sleeve.

On average, each six-pack box of 2016 Clear Vision Football will deliver two numbered Rookie Cards, two parallels, one insert and one memorabilia or autograph card. Each nine-box inner case (two per master case) will yield five memorabilia cards, two prime memorabilia cards, two autographs and one photo variation.

Other enhancements for 2016 Clear Vision Football include numbered RCs (to as low as 99), unnumbered base inserts that are tougher to pull than the numbered parallel versions and two tiers of photo variations. We’ll have plenty more on this product in the coming days, including a complete checklist for this year’s variations.

Until then, though, grab and seat and enjoy this revealing Quality Control Gallery:

  1. I like the look of this years product more than last. Looking forward to maybe seeing some up close 🙂

  2. Big fan of Clear Vision, one of my favorite memorabilia cards of 2015 was a Phillip Dorsett patch from the set. Looks like we have quite a bit to look forward to with the 2016 edition. Thanks Tracy!
