The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2016 Prestige Football (100+ Sweet Pics)

June 01, 2016

Prestige 2

When it comes to Panini America’s venerable Prestige Football franchise, there are certain attributes that fans and collectors have come to appreciate and expect over the years. Like the first Rookie Cards featuring NFL team designations. Like microetched and acetate inserts. Like some of the first hard-signed autographs from the season’s top rookies.

Rest assured, those brand tenants will be boldly present when 2016 Prestige Football arrives in hobby shops across North America one week from today. But there’s also an unmistakable newness to the brand that signals an edgy, improved Prestige. There’s a new logo, a radically revised packaging configuration, full-bleed action photography and so much more.

Each hobby box of 2016 Prestige Football (40 cards per pack, four packs per box) delivers four autographs and a host of calling-card Prestige inserts and parallels. The product also sees the return of the vaunted base-set Short Prints.

The Panini America Football Product Development team spent most of last week at the company production facility overseeing the packout process for 2016 Prestige Football. In the Quality Control Gallery that follows, we showcase just some of what surfaced last week.
