Rest assured, those brand tenants will be boldly present when 2016 Prestige Football arrives in hobby shops across North America one week from today. But there’s also an unmistakable newness to the brand that signals an edgy, improved Prestige. There’s a new logo, a radically revised packaging configuration, full-bleed action photography and so much more.

Each hobby box of 2016 Prestige Football (40 cards per pack, four packs per box) delivers four autographs and a host of calling-card Prestige inserts and parallels. The product also sees the return of the vaunted base-set Short Prints.

The Panini America Football Product Development team spent most of last week at the company production facility overseeing the packout process for 2016 Prestige Football. In the Quality Control Gallery that follows, we showcase just some of what surfaced last week.

  1. Man!!! Prestige looks Awsome this year can’t wait until next Wednesday. Hope there will be a Ronnie Stanley rookie card.

  2. I hope you guys at Panini change up Jaylon Smith’s rookie cards. His injury is sad enough, so I think you should do some action photos of his college career. Not of him in a track suit sitting at the combine. Just a opinion from a Cowboys collector and a guy who wants some of Jaylon in my box. Cool start though, I’ll take it.

  3. There’s one thing that would make this better, and I’ve felt this way with Prestige for a while now. How about the Rookies in their NFL uniforms? Why can’t we keep College uni’s for College products and NFL uni’s for NFL products?
