Panini America’s 2016 Prizm Football arrives in hobby shops across North America this week bolstered by the potent power of Prizm parallels, that vibrant assemblage of chase-worthy singles that has created some of the most colorful player and team collections in the history of football collecting. To be sure, the parallel pursuit begins anew on Wednesday. But 2016 Prizm Football is about more than just chasing rainbows.
It’s about new designs. New inserts. New colors New twists. New tweaks. New players. It’s about staying true to the Prizm way while also delivering a product that feels fresh and reinvigorated. On average, each hobby box of 2016 Prizm Football (12 cards per pack, 12 packs per box) will yield three autographs, 10 numbered Prizms, 24 Rookie Cards and four inserts.

We brought you a revealing Prizm Preview Weekend here on The Knight’s Lance with posts devoted to the Illumination and Decade of Dominance inserts Saturday and the Rookie Introduction and Razzle Dazzle inserts Sunday.
Today, we’re bringing you to the sidelines with a comprehensive Quality Control Gallery that details a little bit of everything that 2016 Prizm Football has to offer. One thing to note: This year, everything but the veteran base cards begins in Prizm form (including all inserts and Rookie Cards).

Oh, and just last week it was confirmed that some additional case-level guarantees have been established for 2016 Prizm Football that were not communicated on the initial Product Information Sheet. Now, every case of 2016 Prizm Football will contain the following, on average:

  • One autograph of Carson Wentz, Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff or a Dual Memorabilia Autograph of Goff and Wentz.
  • One Rookie Dual Memorabilia Autograph sequentially numbered to 99 or less!
  • One Super Short Print Razzle or Dazzle insert card.
  • At least six Prizm parallels sequentially numbered to 25 or less.
  • Also, the following should fall in an average hobby case based on program drop rates but is not an absolute guarantee per case: Roughly 20 autographs numbered to 149 or less.

Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.
