The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Baseball

Panini America’s college-focused Contenders Draft Picks brand is enjoying a banner season across all sports, riding a heat wave that began in April with the arrival of 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Football and then only intensified when 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball released earlier this month. Now, it’s baseball’s turn.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America one week from tomorrow, 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Baseball looks to continue fanning the prospect and draft-pick flames of its 2017 predecessors while also paying homage to some of the greatest college baseball legends of all time.

Boasting a new packaging configuration (18 cards per pack, six packs per box, 12 boxes per case), 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Baseball will deliver one autograph per pack (six per box), with at least two of those autographs being hard-signed draft picks autographs. All on-card autographs will feature photo variations as well as Cracked Ice (numbered to 23), Playoff Ticket (numbered to 15), Championship Ticket (1/1) and Printing Plate (1/1) parallels.

The product’s autograph checklist is stacked and includes key first-round picks (including Royce Lewis), top-20 prospects (including Ronald Acuna) and international prospects (including Luis Roberts).
