It’s an annual NFL tradition by now, the release of Panini America’s venerable Absolute Football product. For decades, the memorabilia-rich, autograph-steeped juggernaut has been something of a must-have kind of product and the 2020 edition, set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on Wednesday, is another proud entry in the Absolute legacy.
On average, each hobby box of 2020 Absolute Football (five cards per pack, three packs per box, six boxes per inner case, two inner cases per master case) will deliver three autographs (including one Rookie Premiere Material autograph), two memorabilia cards, one insert, two parallels and one Rookie Card.
The still-spectacular Kaboom! insert returns with a new checklist of players and a one-per-case chase ratio. Gold (numbered to 10) and Green 1/1 Kaboom! cards are available exclusively in hobby. Also look for Absolute’s landmark Tools of the Trade and Tools of the Trade Autographs exclusively in hobby as well.
Other hobby-only features include Jumbo Footballs and Jumbo Football NFL Shields numbered to five and one, respectively, and selected Rookie Spectrum cards and parallels numbered to 199 or less.
There is also an inviting mix of retail-only attributes, including non-numbered Rookie Cards and retail-exclusive Rookie and Rookie Signature parallels including Gold Stars (numbered to 10), Purple Rain (numbered to five) and Black Galaxy 1/1s.
We’ll have plenty more on 2020 Absolute Football this week right here on The Knight’s Lance. But for now, enjoy this must-see Quality Control Gallery.
2020 Absolute Football will be available at the official online store of Panini America beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. CST.
