The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: Images from 2010-11 Luxury Suite Hockey

I knew it was going to be a high-quality afternoon when Panini America NHL Assistant Brand Manager Clint Hall came to see me just a bit ago. Hall, after all, never ventures this far south in the building unless he has a darn good reason.

I knew it was going to be a high-quality afternoon when Panini America NHL Assistant Brand Manager Clint Hall came to see me just a bit ago. Hall, after all, never ventures this far south in the building unless he has a darn good reason.

And today, Hall had 20 darn good reasons — a heaping handful of luxurious hockey cards, just plucked from the preliminary QC process for 2010-11 Luxury Suite Hockey.

The higher-end Luxury Suite, set to start shipping next week, is the newest made-from-scratch hockey masterpiece from Panini America in which every card in the set is either a memorabilia card, an autograph card, an autographed memorabilia card or a Rookie Card.

Stay tuned later this week for an exclusive interview with NHL legend Al Secord, conducted during Secord’s in-house Luxury Suite signing session. But for now, enjoy the exclusive fist look at the first live cards from the product.

  1. If you guys were a home run, you’d be the titanic mash that Mickey Mantle deposited far out of Washington’s Griffith Stadium against Washington Senators pitcher Chuck Stobbs back in the day.

Yeah, you’re hitting with some serious large clout.

Your designs are getting better by the product and the creative concepts and themes for insert sets are straight up money.

Keep up the great work gentlemen and keep these previews coming, they are keeping everyone salivating for more (and the actual products!). I don’t see any Kopitar this round fellas though you got the token King in DB! 😉

  2. Nice, some more sweet looking stuff. I’m gonna have to start getting more Hockey if you guys keep putting products like this out. Keep up the great work.

  3. looks great

Tracy just FYI, some folks are not happy with the collation issues of past products (certified to all goalies) you might want to let the others know about it. from online forms

  4. I really like those rookie patch autos, the texture used in the background is really interesting.

The legends autos are really cool, should be a hit.

  5. Nice cards, but show me a wow card in this product which seems just expensive enough to make me not to not buy it and wait for Dominion. ….but very nice effort so far
