The Panini America Routing Table Runneth Over: 2011 Absolute Memorabilia Football

Being out of town at the 32nd Annual National Collectors Convention for most of last week really impacted my ability to saunter back to the Product Development area to peruse to the sneak-peek sensation that is the Panini America Routing Table.

Being out of town at the 32nd Annual National Sports Collectors Convention for most of last week really impacted my ability to saunter back to the Product Development area to peruse the sneak-peek sensation that is the Panini America Routing Table.

Frankly, I simply couldn’t wait to get back there when I returned to the office today.

What I found was a veritable foretelling feast of previews from the late-September release of 2011 Absolute Memorabilia Football. In the massive gallery that follows, you’ll get in-progress peeks of key Absolute inclusions such as NFL Icons, Tools of the Trade, Marks of Fame, War Room, Ground Hoggs, Absolute Heroes and the gorgeous Absolute Patches Jumbo Prime Spectrum parallels.

Now as always, please keep in mind that all of these design routings are in the early stages of development and could very well change between now and release time. But there’s still not a better place on the planet for first-look purposes.

  1. The Icons look fantastic, glad to see it span the generations from Gifford to Rice to Bradford. Really appreciate the use of a second photo for the backs of cards. Great Hall of Fame and Heroes cards. Any chance Absolute will include some of the Michael Irvin autos?

  2. Do you know if these will be on regular stock or foil board or is that yet to be determined?

I am excited about the Chris Carter card up here, he hasn’t received the hobby love he deserves. Do you know if he will have autos in the set?

  3. Much better looking than last year. Good Job Panini. Way to step it up. Can’t wait to see what the Draft Auto’s look like.

  4. I’m a huge fan of the “Tools of the Trade” Set, Tracy. I own atleast 100 Football ones spanning many years.

I like all of the deigns including that one but I always thought of and liked the “Horizontal” Design of that set instead of the way you guys have it now. My opinion might change if I seen it with the foil, I hope that’s in the plans because the shiny foil makes that set look great every year.

I also hope you guys stick with only pro bowl jerseys in that set along with helmets, gloves and shoes of veteran players. It really makes it the truly unique set that I have always loved collecting.

    Thanks!
