I crossed paths with Panini America NBA product developers David Porter and Keith Hower in the hallway over by Customer Service earlier today. In Porter's right hand, glowing like a tavern neon, were four tiny black boxes containing some of the cards from the first quality control case of 2010-11 National Treasures Basketball.

Before Porter could say a word, I was on bended knee begging to scan some of the cards before he reintroduced them to the packout process.
Being the gentleman that he is, Porter obliged. Hower, meanwhile, just stood there expressionless, presumably transfixed by what was for lunch.
The gallery that follows details just some of the highlights from that first case. Perhaps they’ll tide you over until the highly anticipated 2010-11 National Treasures Basketball releases next Wednesday.
Can anyone say “sticker autos”?
looking good! is there a checklist?
The howard timeline mem card looks great!
Very sweet! Love these cards
see the golden ticket for 30,000 $ on eBay trip of a life time I would Deff. Redeem it if I pulled that sweetness!!
Wow more manufactured patches? They may be ok for kids who buy lower end products like R&S, but not for National Treasures..
I agree. What’s with all the collectors nowadays. Sure, these pics are eyecatching in some ways but the reality is that this is the highest-end NBA product Panini puts out and it’s loaded with sticker autographs and manufactured patches….. at …ahem….such exquisite prices.
Very nice!
Sooooo cases have been packed already, surely the checklist was packed with each and everyone of those boxes, no??? Lets see it in its entirety!!! 🙂

Word on the street is that the 80 cases were opened in Taiwan and only the one Wall RC was pulled. Must be a tough break. Would be interesting to see the better cards from the 80 cases.
