These Autos are LONG Overdue . . .

For collectors who have patiently waited for Chris Long to sign for Donruss/Panini, the wait is now over. Joe White, Football Acquisitions Manager, stayed hot on the heels of the feared defensive lineman knowing that collectors were wanting his dual and triple Pen Pals. Long, the second overall pick in 2008, was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team and has compiled 17.5 sacks since his first season.

“We’ve worked hard to track down some of the guys we know that will be heavily collected (referring to the recently acquired Rashard Mendenhall and Hakeem Nicks),” said White. “We’re often asked why it takes so long for guys to sign and we can’t always answer that, but what we can say is that we will never give up.”

The son of Hall of Famer Howie Long, the younger Long will now appear on several cards, highlighted by the following:

  1. Great to hear these guy’s long wait is over. Any information on other new signatures in house? Maybe hockey? It has been a while since we’ve heard who came in. Any word on Alexander Burmistrov’s autos for Certified?

  2. You guys didn’t happen to get Kobe to sign any more while he was in town getting his butt spanked, did you? Any update would be nice. Thanks.
