They say the devil's in the details. But sometimes, the extraordinary details are in the Devil. In this case, that Devil is legendary New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur, who's newest autographed trading cards from Panini America are, like the man himself, quite spectacular.

They say the devil’s in the details. But sometimes, the extraordinary details are in the Devil. In this case, that Devil is legendary New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur, who’s newest autographed trading cards from Panini America are, like the man himself, quite spectacular.

It’s fitting that Brodeur’s newest installment of devilishly sweet trading cards arrived back at Panini America HQ on Friday, the day 2011-12 Dominion Hockey went live. That means that while they were inserted into the product as redemptions, they’re in and ready to be redeemed now.

Among the headline-makers that were in Brodeur’s hands in recent days before he signed them and expedited them back to Panini America? His Stanley Cup Champions, Stickside Signatures, Peerless Patches and Tape to Tape autographs from Dominion, and his Genuine Marks autographs from 2011-12 Prime Hockey.

You can see them all in the gallery below. Another thing you’ll notice about Brodeur: The three-time Stanley Cup champion who has more wins, saves, games, shutouts and overtime shutouts than any other goalie in history might just have more sweet trading cards than any other goalie in history, too.

  1. Funniest Brodeuer story I have is that Iive in suburban Philadelphia. There was a Martin lane in our neighborhood. Back about 7-8 years ago when the Devils were winning, someone spray painted or sharpied a “Brodeur” on the sign under where it said Martin. Had to shake my head every time I drove by it until they fixed it.
