Thursday’s New Batch of On-Card Arrivals for 2010-11 Elite Black Box Basketball

Building a brand new trading card product from the ground up is a daunting task. Doing so in a condensed timeframe only compounds the complexities. But judging by the frenetic pace at which the on-card autographs for 2010-11 Elite Black Box Basketball are being returned, this new launch is in good hands with the Panini America Product Development and Acquisitions teams.

Yesterday we showed you some of the first Elite Black Box autographs to arrive back at Panini America HQ. Today, we received six more gems that are on beautiful display below.

  1. I applaud Panini for having a nice big light-colored area on these cards that make the autos stand out. It actually makes it look like the card is supposed to feature an autograph as opposed to a card that seems to have an autograph squeezed onto it, in whatever space is available.

  2. Have you guys ever considered doing a product with silver autographs on a black card? Stuff like that looks amazing (I.e. UD Black). I would love to see something like that from Panini. Any sort of variation in the ink color is always fun for collectors to see.
