His adoring allegiance of fans and collectors span the country — from Florida to the Rocky Mountains to the Big Apple and seemingly everywhere in between and beyond — and his every move in New York, on the field and off, commands tabloid headlines. Just wait until the season starts.
But here’s a juicy Tebow tidbit the controversy-craving New York media just might miss (but that collectors most certainly won’t): The Jets’ new Wildcat wildcard will take a starring role in the upcoming release of Panini America’s 2012 Prestige Football as the star of a 15-card insert devoted exclusively to him.
The larger-than-life Tebow likely has never appeared more heroic than he does on these movie-poster-inspired works of art that chronicle his championship-encrusted roller-coaster ride from Pop Warner to Nease High School to the Florida Gators to the Broncos and, finally, on card No. 15, to the Jets.
It’s worth noting that 15 special versions of that 15th card will include Tebow’s autograph, his first Panini America Jets certified autograph cards.
We’ve previewed the first seven cards in the set on our Facebook page. The remaining eight — fronts and backs — are unveiled below. The cards, due out June 20, will be numbered to a maximum of 1,500.

Actually, I can’t take credit for this one — but I can take credit for applauding the heck out of it. I believe this was a joint effort between NFL Brand Manager Carlos Torrez and Editorial Director Jeff Sullivan. But again, you won’t hear me complaining.

Im going to be perfectly honest. Tim Tebow as a person is a great human being. And a good football player. Hince the word FOOTBALL. AS a QB, he really isnt good. Frankly he’s garbage. He would be a good tight end possibly, but QB no way.
Tracy, I am a MAJOR Tebow collector, I already have pulled tons of Tebow prime jersey cards numbered to as low as /49. I’m still looking for an autograph. I really appreciate that this insert collection was made. Next time could you put out a request for a Tebow collector’s set with insert cards #d to at the most 100. Also maybe more memorabilia cards would help a Tebow set flourish. If you could talk about this with the Panini “Group” I would really appreciate it. You could also put these cards in brands like absolute memorabilia or gridiorn gear coming out later in the year. Also, if more tebow prime jersey cuts in other brands started showing up more, I would gladly be willing to pay A LOT MORE for that brand. Thanks for your time.
