Tim Tebow has been leading the 2010 NFL trading card movement since his Panini America football cards first hit the market way back in April. This afternoon in Oakland, he'll finally get his chance to lead the Denver Broncos.
Editor’s note: This gallery highlighting some of Tim Tebow’s most desirable rookie-year football cards originally appeared on The Knight’s Lance in December 2010, on the eve of Tebow’s first career start against the Oakland Raiders. Given his riveting performance in leading the Denver Broncos to victory over the New York Jets on Thursday night, we felt it was worth revisiting.
Tim Tebow has been leading the 2010 NFL trading card movement since his Panini America football cards first hit the market way back in April. This afternoon in Oakland, he’ll finally get his chance to lead the Denver Broncos. At long last, Tebow will enter an NFL game, his rookie season’s 14th, as a starting quarterback. To honor that huge career milestone for one of the game’s most scrutinized and most collected players, we felt a massive gallery featuring some of Tebow’s best football cards was in order.
What follows is a stunning assortment of Tebow’s greatest Panini America trading cards from his 2010 rookie season, both those that are already on the market and those that are coming. Personally, I’m pulling for the kind of vintage Tebow performance today in Oakland that compels you to go out and add some of these to your collection.
(In the interest of full disclosure, I already own many of them, much to the chagrin of my wife, who, it should be noted, is also excited about watching Tebow’s first start today.)
By all means, enjoy Tebow’s history-making start this afternoon. But before you do, enjoy this spectacular gallery of his best cards.
I have to admit those are some real beauties ……….unfortunately I have not pulled any of his cards yet………..but I did pull other nice ones ……..and there still are possibilities that I may pull one………Good Luck on his start……
i would love to have a tebow collection like that!
implying I didnt sell my tebow I pulled when he was going for $100
hes the next Brady Quinn
Hack, he just might be the real deal…plus he’s about the coolest Pro I’ve ever met!
Right there with you, brother — on both counts.
He’s the front runner for the Rookie of the Week!
I need to work on the letterman, its a must have
That “EPIX” is awesome!! Grid gear is really cool too had not seen that before!
That was an oldie-but-goodie but certainly worth revisiting based on the events of tonight.
epic bumpage! That was a fantastic game!
Epix was one of my favorite brands last year. Love the look of the rookies. And congrats Tracy on another Denver victory! I was actually shocked to have woken up to find the score to be honest. Rex’s tough D against Tim. I was expecting a good outcome. But Tim had another good game and the Jet’s run D wasn’t ready for him. What an incredible 4th quarter run to win the game. But Tim may not be the best throwing qb in the world and i always see the complaints about him, I believe in him. He believes in himself and a higher power. He is a winner. Plain and simple and the last thing that I knew about the NFL is that its all about winning. It shouldn’t matter how you have to do it. He is 4-1. Better than some of his counterparts from last season rookie class. Way to go Tim!! And hopefully for you Tracy you get to see a Denver playoff game this year and if not more…..
Let’s not forget this beauty that my son got at the 2010 Fall Expo (1/1 Tebow patch) https://paniniamerica.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/scenes-from-the-floor-saturday-sunday-at-the-2010-toronto-fall-expo/expo19/
A beauty indeed.
John Elway wears Tim Tebow pajamas.
So do I!
You need to toss together a Von Miller greatest hits gallery; he was a monster last night!
