LONG BEACH, Calif. — For the better part of the last three days, a star-studded cast featuring the most spectacular rookies from the 2015 NFL season spent quality time behind the scenes at the 2016 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl delivering one impressive performance after another for Panini America. In an event that has become known as the NFLPA Rookie Closeout, Panini America officials hosted 14 top rookies for an entertaining — and intensive — signing session.
The results — which have played out live on the Panini America Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat feeds — were simply spectacular. One after another, the game’s biggest rookies camped out in a jam-packed Panini America suite for often-raucous, always entertaining signing sessions that will pay dividends for collectors well into the future.
The guest list for this year’s event was quite impressive and included Todd Gurley, Karlos Williams, Leonard Williams, Matt Jones, Ty Montgomery, Stefon Diggs, Jay Ajayi, Nelson Agholor, T.J. Yeldon, Jamison Crowder, Melvin Gordon, Dorial Green-Beckham, Ameer Abdullah and Jeremy Langford. They signed for upcoming releases such as 2015 National Treasures Football, 2015 Black Gold Football, 2015 Luxe Football and 2015 Flawless Football; some got caught up current releases such as 2015 Contenders Football and 2015 Crown Royale Football.
Throughout the process, the assembled star power shared stories from their collective rookie season, conducted media interviews, participated in live group breaks with Ulitmate Box Breaks, Cardsmiths Breaks, KT Authentics and Jaspy’s Hobbyland. In short, their performances during the NFLPA Rookie Closeout were just as impressive as their respective rookie campaigns.

Tracy,
Did Karlos Williams sign his immaculate cards?
Thx!!
Tracey,
Did KARLOS Williams sign his immaculate cards while he was there. Just curious. Thanks!!
I’m pretty sure he signed everything — and he was great the whole weekend.
Looks like a lot of ink put on cardboard at this tremendous event, disappointed not to see Phillip Dorsett in attendance catching up on his outstanding redemptions though. Excellent early looks at some of the future big releases for the end of 2015 too, thanks Tracy!
