UConn Men’s and Women’s Basketball Join Panini NIL
Written by: Dallin Duffy
Few colleges are consistently elite in both men’s and women’s basketball. In fact, there may be only one school that meets that criteria: UConn. The Huskies are always in the championship mix come tournament time, whether you’re talking about the Dan Hurley-led men’s side or the women’s group helmed by legend Geno Auriemma.
Both teams are off to sizzling starts to 2024-25, and as the Big East powerhouse aims to bring more trophies home to Storrs, it first stopped by Panini America to become the newest member of the company’s growing NIL profile.
Joining the Universities of Texas, Nebraska and Ohio State in the world of college collectibles, UConn brings officially licensed basketball cards from both the men’s and women’s side for collectors to enjoy.
That means cards from players like Alex Karaban, Tarris Reed Jr., Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd, among many others, can be yours to own.
Karaban, a two-time champ looking to guide the Huskies to a third consecutive title, currently leads his squad in scoring with 16.1 points per night. Reed Jr., meanwhile, is a transfer from Michigan who’s quickly won over fans during his first season in Storrs.
Bueckers, who’s already an exclusive Panini athlete, is once again serving as one of the top playmakers in the nation, aiming to capture a third All-America selection. Her partner in crime, Fudd, is fresh off a 21-point performance against Georgetown (Jan. 11, 2025).
Keep your eye out for the full checklist to see all the exciting UConn basketball players you can add to your collection. With many of these stars primed for a fruitful professional career, this would be the perfect time to start a long-term personal collection as well.
