Panini Rewards May 12 Update Main

Panini America officials are putting the finishing touches on the next planned inventory update to the Panini Rewards platform, a major upgrade that will include Rewards-exclusive autographed photos, autographed memorabilia from Panini Authentic, game-used memorabilia, a small number of 2015 NBA Finals promo packs and, for the first time, uncut sheets from previous Panini America releases. The new items will be available on the Panini Rewards site beginning Friday evening.

“We are excited to make these additions as part of the Panini Rewards program. We’ve always said that our plan was to incorporate unique items to the Panini Rewards platform and these additions are a preview of other additions to come; they also showcase the potential for special experiences in the future as the Rewards platform continues to evolve,”  said Jason Howarth, Panini America’s Vice President of Marketing. “This type of expansion has been part of the plan from the beginning and we’re excited to see how collectors react.”

To be sure, the opportunity for collectors to acquire uncut sheets is incredibly rare. The uncut sheets featured in Friday’s update include such products as 2014 National Treasures Football, 2014-15 Immaculate Basketball, 2014-15 Select Basketball, 2015 Stars & Stripes USA Baseball and 2015 Diamond Kings Baseball.

Panini Rewards users also will find Rewards-exclusive autographed photos signed during the recent 2015 NFLPA Rookie Premiere, mini helmets signed by the likes of Joe Namath, Andy Dalton and Jay Novacek, and Hall of Fame basketballs signed by the likes of Rick Pitino, Mitch Richmond and Gary Payton.

The gallery below details many of the items being added in Friday’s update. Enjoy this first look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of the Panini Rewards program.

  1. Exclusive content: cool. Private Signings cards that should have been in the NBA Finals promo: not cool – unless these are new players who were not on the original checklist.
