Late last week, Panini America officials spent several hours with Dak Prescott for a pivotal signing session before the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and eventual Best Breakthrough Athlete award-winner departed for the ESPYs. Prescott autographed the vast majority of his remaining 2016 trading cards as well as cards for the company's upcoming 2017 Pantheon Football. The only cards Prescott didn't sign during the meeting were those from 2016 Prizm Football that are in the process of being remade now. Once production is completed, Prescott will sign those cards, which will be affixed with a special Prescott hologram.

Prescott’s lengthy session afforded us the opportunity to capture video of his handiwork as he signed his Panini NFL trading cards. The sit-down — which included several Panini America officials, two representatives from Prescott’s agency and even his father for a bit — resulted in the completion of his outstanding autographs for 2016 National Treasures Football, 2016 Select Football, 2016 Donruss Optic Football, 2016 Origins Football, 2016 Limited Football, 2016 Unparalleled Football and more. The Panini America Customer Service team began processing those cards this week and will begin shipping them to collectors over the next several days.
In addition to the video above, the following gallery provides additional highlights from the crucial signing session.
Thank you Dak and Panini, I genuinely have a passionate respect for you guys. What an awsome video. Impressive. All eyes on you. This world needs leaders like you guys! Go Bears, but lovin the Cowboys. Their growing on my heart. Am super excited cause I been waiting for the booklet out of Treasures and the Copper Materials from Select! Thank you Dak Prescott. Your the real deal, and I can’t wait to watch you and your team make the most of every opportunity that presents itself.
Did the Rookies and Stars redemption cards get signed? They’re way past due.
Yes, they did.
I’m sure collectors who have been waiting for these will be thrilled to see them arriving in their mailboxes soon, thanks Tracy!
What happened to his number 4? Did he get writers cramp?
Way to step up and put the auto pen issue behind. Awesome to see actual pics and video of Dak signing some of the outstanding redemption cards. I have been waiting on a NT Booklet auto and a Select Tie-dye auto. It would be awesome to actually get one of the cards that the pics or video shows him signing. This would also be a great ideal for Panini in the future to post video or pics of players actually signing the cards. It makes it more real and personal to the collector. Thanks Dak, Thanks Panini.
These cards look great. Can’t wait to see them in my hands.
Have the redemptions started shipping yet?
