It was an all-hands-on-deck kind of afternoon Friday inside the Panini America Production Department conference room as Karvin Cheung, Chris Barr, Alex Carbajal, Tim Trout, Joe Reyes and even NBA brand manager Keith Hower pitched in to scrutinize the second quality control case of 2011-12 Elite Hockey.

The QC process started Thursday on-location at the Panini America printing facility but a second case was sent over Friday as the product went through the final stages before being shipped.
The following video and gallery detail the myriad bells and whistles anxious hockey collectors can expect from this bold reimagining of a collecting classic, including the sublime Prime Numbers, stunning foil treatments on the Stars and Elite Series inserts, the pioneering Social Signatures autographed insert and the dynamic die-cutting at play on the Aspirations and Status parallels.
Oh, and you’ll also notice something new on the redemption card in the gallery: Player names. Enjoy this unique peek into the QC process and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for more information in the coming days.
First, the video . . .
Now, the gallery . . .
Are these cards available? I’d love a chance at the Social Signatures…
Great video guys, the product looks great. Can’t wait to bust a few boxes here. When will we see a checklist, and will there be any Private Signings included in this release?
Rich
1st post should get a free box
First boxes will be all redemptions!
Loving it! And I find it very awesome that a players name will now be on a redemption. Been waiting for that. I search the included checklists just to find out who i pulled. It kinda adds to the fun, but now I can get excited just from the pack.
Great video! some nice pulls. Quality Control check loks good to me. Another great product. Glad to see Elite Series in there as well.
Quality control must be the best job ever. i would love to get paid to open packs.
Looks great. When does Elite finally release?
know i no where all the beckett guys went lol. that first auto held up seemed to have a bad cornner lower left
Good stuff there. Really like the Prime Numbers subset with the different pieces.
Wow! amazing gallery and cards as always!
Loving those Prime Numbers, Would be awesome to see that style of card adapted into an Elite NBA release sometime in the future
hope price is at a mid to low mid price range…that case was either dead or the product isnt loaded
Wow another great product!!!!
Looks like another stacked release of this excellent program, Elite always excites us collectors!
That Scheifele/Hawerchuk made my man parts feel all tingly!! Panini you really know how to take care of a Jets fan!!
Is VegasPuck apart of Panini? I never knew
Also noticed that the Joe Thornton was for his 306 goals. How will people complete the middle auto card if there are 0 of them in theory?
He is now!
How will the Prime Numbers insert card work for someone like Joe Thornton for instance: 306 Goals
Left Side – 300 Jersey cards
Middle – 0? Autograph cards
Right Side – 6 Autograph Prime cards
Any 0’s will be numbered to 10.
Nice, I like the Elite Signings cards. I want the Bobby Ryan one!! Thanks again Tracy
Will there be a redemption program at the Toronto Spring Expo and if so how may special packs will an Elite break get me.
Absolutely. Stay tuned for more information soon.
Looks good! Will these be out for the Toronto expo? When are the plans coming for the expo?
Yes, I believe Elite will be live for the Toronto Expo. We should have details on our plans for Toronto soon.
Why.. why… why do you guys have to keep packaging new products into big awkward boxes? Sorry… but ugly… bulky… etc
Any sign of a checklist yet guys? I am wondering if there will be any more Private Signings included in this Elite release. Thanks.
