HOWELL, N.J. — In a week typically dedicated to the Super Bowl, Panini America took the sports world’s largest stage to activate heavily throughout the three NHL Stadium Series events at Dodger Stadium and Yankee Stadium, culminating with one of the NHL’s young stars, Adam Henrique, engaging fans with a hobby shop appearance that was awarded during Panini America’s NHL Draft activation.

“The timing of this appearance was essential as we looked to deliver an opportunity to the hobby during NHL Stadium Series events in New York,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America Vice President of Marketing. “Our activations are always dedicated to driving traffic to the hobby by bringing NHL fans opportunities to interact with NHL Players away from the ice. NHL Stadium Series was the ideal platform to activate this.”

For more than 90 magnificent minutes on Saturday afternoon at Bob’s Sports cards in Howell, N.J., Devils superstar Adam Henrique further ingratiated himself to hundreds of hockey fans during a Panini America public signing in honor of the NHL Stadium Series. Henrique’s Hollywood smile and chiseled physique attracted more female fans than you’ll find at most autograph signings. But his warmth, humility and engaging personality are what won everyone over — regardless of gender.

Henrique arrived early (after driving himself from more than an hour away), stayed a little longer than he was scheduled to and was even nice enough to join Angelo Exarhakos of Universal Distribution for a quick episode of Panini Unwrapped starring 2013-14 Titanium Hockey.

When Henrique departed to his vehicle for the ride back home, he discovered notes of admiration from female fans (complete with phone numbers) tucked under each windshield wiper blade, simply reaffirming what we’d come to know after 90 solid minutes of watching him inside Bob’s Sports Cards — everybody loves this kid.
