The splendid sojourn toward prepping 2011-12 Prime Hockey for packout continues in earnest during these dog days of summer as on-card autographs for the debut release continue hitting Panini America HQ at a blistering pace.

Highlighting our most recent arrivals are more to-die-for Genuine Marks autographed game-worn jersey letters (we shared the phenomenal Ron Francis specimens from this insert a few weeks ago), including serendipitous submissions from the legendary Rogie Vachon. Also included in this gallery are the groundbreaking All-Star Signatures cards featuring 1/1 signatures on pieces of All-Star Game locker nameplates.

We’ll have much more eye candy to share as 2011-12 Prime Hockey gets closer to completion. But until then, just bask in the glow of these beauties . . .

  2. These should be a ablsolute hit as collectors have always clamored to have letters from actual game used jerseys. Has Panini ever thought about sharing the process of where they get their jerseys for these cards as example?

  3. Wow those are sweet. See I’ll have a Modano AU I’ll have to try and find, but probably won’t be in my budget ;lol

  4. THack’ …thats some serious Trading Card eye candy! Hockey products have never held much appeal for me. That said, however, I’m blown away.
    Can I get an MSRP?

  5. What do the Boston Bruins have to do with those Vachon cards? Doesn’t look like anything Boston Bruins to me….

      1. I believe Jim S is wondering where the Vachon swatches came from. The cards say “Bruins” but a red and black nameplate is not something I recall having seen on a B’s jersey…

    1. The Rogie Vachon jersey is an All-Star jersey that he wore while he was a member of the Boston Bruins organization.

  6. Vachon didn’t play an All Star Game with the Bruins…….unless that was an oldtimers game.
    Played in 1973, 1975, 1978 NHL All-Star Game.

    1. I went and did some research on the jersey from our inventory. This was a 1973 NHL All-Star game worn jersey worn by Vachon. The team and photo selection was incorrect on our part. He should have been pictured with the Kings.
