And in many cases, getting just the right perspective can still take your breath away. Indeed, one of Panini America’s true marquee inserts, regardless of sport, continues to impress almost eight years after it debuted in 2010 Crown Royale Football.

The design has undergone slight modifications through the years but the most alluring aspects of the Silhouettes chase — oversized memorabilia pieces and on-card autographs — have gracefully endured. And so it is with next week’s release of 2017 Preferred Football, which will introduce another captivating array of collection-making Silhouettes featuring the game’s top rookies, superstar veterans and all-time legends.

In the must-see gallery that follows, we showcase just some of the Silhouettes coming next week, compliments of Panini America Brand Manager Thomas Barchi, who captured the following images during last week’s packout process. Silhouettes should fall one per hobby box, on average, and will include Super Prime (numbered to five) and NFL Shield 1/1 versions.
