Willa Ford, Mike Modano’s Better-Looking Half, Is a Card Collector’s Dream

The lovely and talented Amanda Lee Modano — stage name “Willa Ford” — made her ballyhooed sports trading card debut earlier this month in 2010-11 Donruss Hockey‘s Fans of the Game insert.

Turns out the do-it-all entertainer perhaps best known for being easy on the eyes, “Dancing With The Stars” and marrying NHL legend Mike Modano also happens to be a rather spirited signer. Ford penned no less than eight different inscriptions for the autographed versions of her Fans of the Game cards, including a handful of sweet-nothings to her hockey-hero hubby.

She added a “DWTS’ acronym to some and clearly stated her NHL rooting interests on others. In short, she gave hockey fans and card collectors that many more reasons to be huge fans of Willa Ford.
