CLEVELAND — As the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention speeds through a fascinating Saturday, traditionally the busiest day of the show, The Knight’s Lance has another exclusive treat for all of those collectors who can’t make it to Cleveland: A world-premiere sneak peek of the upcoming 2014 Flawless Football, the most super-premium product in Panini America football history.

The high-end brand that created a North America feeding frenzy with its basketball debut last season will make its gridiron debut in the late-September/early October window, complete with many of the spectacular designs, legends and on-card brilliance that graced the hardcourt version.

In the must-see gallery that follows, we preview just some of the gems being prepared for the product as we speak, including many in their unsigned state. As something of  a bonus, we’re also including the first images of some of the autographed cards completed during recent signings with the likes of Jamaal Charles and Hall of Famers Michael Irvin and Bruce Smith.

And seeing as how the great Joe Namath will help headline the Panini VIP Party tonight, you can bet that the Namaths in the gallery that follows will be signed before the night’s over.

Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance tomorrow for additional coverage of the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention.

  1. Michael Irvin with that happiness and joy on his face :0)

All the players know this is the best of the best when it comes to football cards

  2. You know this product has high expectation, Panini don’t let us down. When you label a product flawless that better be what every card in the pack is, especially at the price of this stuff. Which means no bent corners, off-center images, etc…..

  3. Looking forward to this product! If its anything like last years basketball it will probably run around 1,000-1,200 a box.

  4. Looking at the cards the rookies patch/jersey cards are not game used but event used. Is that correct?

If that is the case I just wonder why not release it later so everything is game used like Flawless BK.

    Can you comment?
