Your Insert Set in 2011-12 NBA Hoops Has a Theme . . . Now it Needs a Name

After two rounds of voting and almost three weeks, the collector-selected insert set that will appear in the late-September release of 2011-12 Panini NBA Hoops will honor . . . the league's most hallowed single-game records.

After two rounds of voting and almost three weeks, the collector-selected insert set that will appear in the late-September release of 2011-12 Panini NBA Hoops will honor . . . the league’s most hallowed single-game records.

That category narrowly edged out dunkers, unsung heroes and great rivalries in a hotly contested runoff vote conducted earlier this week. Now the momentum starts to build.

Now we need you to select a name for your insert. We’ve suggested several possibilities in the poll below. Please vote on the one you like the best. If none of those appeal to you, provide your insert name idea in the “others” category by Sunday night, when we’ll close the voting. If need be, we’ll put the top vote-getters in another one-day run-off.

Let’s get to the poll . . .

  1. Just posting my input in case my ideas are never seen…I think Phenomenal Feats or Franchise Phenoms would be awesome for an insert set..

    1. I’d like to add that I came up with a spin-off from a name used in a subset of National treasures called Notable Signatures that would pertain to single game records: NOTABLE NIGHTS.

  2. Spent some time thinking since I think some of the Panini ideas are too long winded…here are some since I can’t vote more then once. Well I can it’s just too much work.

    Glorious Games
    Game of Glory
    Exemplary Performances
    Memorable Moments
Notable Nights (just saw that one used after I typed it, great minds think alike)
    Magnificent Moments
    Noteworthy Nights
    Illustrious Stats
    Legendary Performances
    Legendary Games
    Magical Moments

Hope there is something there to Panini’s liking.
