You’ve Got Mail: A Daily Reminder of Panini America’s Incoming On-Card Brilliance

Rosalinda Rios' revelatory emails arrive every morning with uncanny precision, setting off the Microsoft Outlook notification chime that has become music to my ears. Like that first swig of lo-carb Monster energy drink, her electronic missives provide the perfect start to my every work day.

Rosalinda Rios’ revelatory emails arrive every morning with uncanny precision, setting off the Microsoft Outlook notification chime that has become music to my ears. Like that first swig of lo-carb Monster energy drink, her electronic missives provide the perfect start to my every work day.

Rios is something of a signature siren around these parts, the woman responsible for receiving and verifying each day’s new arrivals. She then sends those magical morning emails — always with the same “Autos in House” subject line — that detail the identities of each day’s signers. Within seconds and without fail, I’m speed walking back to the spacious confines of “the vault” to check out the autographs in person.

There’s a certain “every day is Christmas” vibe to the routine that has grown immeasurably more festive in recent days given the sheer abundance of honest-to-goodness on-card signatures landing at a breakneck clip inside Panini America HQ.

The following gallery, highlighting arrivals from just the last two days alone, provides an inkling of what collectors can expect to see a lot more of — hard-signed autos — in forthcoming products such as 2010-11 Zenith Hockey, 2010-11 Luxury Suite Hockey and 2010-11 Gold Standard.

Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned for more. After all, the next batch of on-card greatness is but a Rios email away.

  1. thanks so much Tracy!
The Gold Standard product looks very appealing.
I was just wondering if you knew if John Wall had signed his Absolute RPM cards yet for redemption. I have also been waiting a while on a Ty Lawson and a Baron Davis Timeless Treasures. Just seeing if you would take a quick glance for me.
    All the best,
    Johnny Hodge

  2. Loving the Secord! Now I don’t have to track down his only other auto (which is limited to 26 copies).

  4. Awesome looking cards, a detail worth mentioning is the fact you got Mason in his new BJ’s alternate sweater. Details buddy, details.

Speaking of details, did anyone notice Evgeni Malkin’s autograph has improved by a A LOT on his Panini cards as opposed to some of his other recent signatures out there on other companies cards?

Did you guys pay him extra to sign a bit better? Or maybe you just paid him?

  5. Wow, not sure which product I like better. That John Wall looks sweet tho and I’m not even a Wall fan. Should be a fun couple of months in the Hobby.
