A Signing Sidney Sighting

I bolted from our weekly marketing meeting this morning on a mission to the men's room. Leave it to one of the greatest defensive players in NBA history to stop me in my tracks.

I bolted from our weekly marketing meeting this morning on a mission to the men’s room. Leave it to one of the greatest defensive players in NBA history to stop me in my tracks.

On this particular Monday, University of Arkansas and Milwaukee Bucks legend Sidney Moncrief was down near the acquisitions end of our building lending his penmanship to a handsome handful of cards, including some gems from the forthcoming 2010-11 Limited Basketball.

A first-round pick of the Bucks in 1979 following a highly decorated career with the Razorbacks, Moncrief spent 11 seasons in the NBA, two of which ended with “Sir Sid” earning Defensive Player of the Year acclaim. His jersey is retired by both the Razorbacks and the Bucks.
