In fact, we’re so excited about this year’s release that we’re not going to wait until tomorrow evening to start sharing the myriad reasons for our optimism. We’re going to start that process right now with the first of several preview galleries that will countdown to 2013 National Treasures Football’s official March 26 release date. Today’s selection showcases just some of the nasty memorabilia cards created for the product — including National Treasures’ game-dated Timelines insert, the fantastically filthy Colossal insert, and your first extended peek at the extraordinary Rookie NFL Football & Lace chase.

Be sure to tune to the live feeds of Layton Sports Cards and Mojobreak beginning tomorrow at 5 p.m. PST to watch all the action from the Panini America GTS Distribution Ultimate Case Break live from the 2014 Industry Summit. In addition to 2013 National Treasures Football, the Ultimate Case Break also features 2013-14 Totally Certified Hockey, 2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball and 2013 America’s Pastime Baseball. One spot in each break will be awarded to a Panini America fan, so stay tuned for information on that.

But now, enjoy this first 2013 National Treasures Football countdown gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance in the coming days for parts two, three and four.

  1. National treasures is and has always been awesome… but it’s not like I need to say this to convince anyone… everyone already knows!

  2. Love these galleries, really helps to build the anticipation for this year’s release. Those ball cards are stellar, great design for that subset. Thanks Tracy!

  3. any idea for whether or not those FB&Laces will actually fit in any type of toploader? I’ve seen one of the Hockey ones and it just looked impossible…so how do you keep those beauties safe? Unless that’s a game-used football, I’ll be honest, I really don’t like it, I’d personally rather have a nice 3-color patch. This post looks eerily familiar to your posts from last years NT….I bought a case of that…I won’t make the same mistake this year…Cool cards in the pictures, but the checklist still seems way too huge for such an expensive product, with way too much “event-worn” material. I’d pay $400+ per box if everything was actually game-used and I wasn’t pulling out autos of guys like Brian Hartline and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

    1. hard to please everyone but this product gives u the best chance at landing some amazing PC auto’s from vets and retired stars

  4. Did they make any jumbo patch cards of one of their spokesmen featured on the front page of Panini’s website ANDREW LUCK?? Not the flash-in-the pan RGIII one year wonder..
