Lights, Camera, Action: Rookie Cards Arrive from the 2017 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — Well, that didn’t take long. Within minutes of being photographed yesterday during the 2017 Panini America NBA Rookie Photo Shoot, the 39 players in attendance already had appeared on their first NBA Rookie Cards thanks to the real-time Panini Instant platform. The cards, available now for a limited time, received rave reviews from the players themselves yesterday. And judging by the early response, fans and collectors are fond of them as well.

Each player’s Panini Instant card is available in an unnumbered base version as well as rare parallels numbered to 10 and only one. In a true testament to the excitement being created by one of the most exciting NBA rookie classes in years, many of the parallel versions have already sold out.
