Later tonight inside the American Airlines Center, the Dallas Mavericks will host the Portland Trail Blazers to close the 2014-15 regular season. And just as they have been for the last 17 seasons, the Mavs will be led by sensational seven-footer Dirk Nowitzki. And just as they have been for the last 17 seasons, the Mavs will be led by sensational seven-footer Dirk Nowitzki. As part of tonight’s festivities, Panini America will pay tribute to Nowitzki’s legendary career with a fitting final chapter to its season-long Mavericks trading card promotion.
Fans entering tonight’s game will receive a free three-card pack that includes two random cards from the five-card, Nowitzki-themed Moments of Greatness set, and one card honoring Amar’e Stoudemire, one of the team’s newest players. But six lucky collectors will receive much more than that.
Earlier this week, Nowitzki signed a small number of his Moments of Greatness cards that will be randomly inserted into the packs being distributed tonight. In addition, the Dallas Mavericks will award one lucky fan with a complete Moments of Greatness set autographed by Nowitzki.
In the gallery below, we showcase the special autograph cards being awarded tonight and provide your first look at the Stoudemire card. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.
Ok guys. Dirk is great, but where is the love for Tim Duncan? There needs to be something special honoring Tim Duncan before he retires.
Would love to do it!
Got a Several TTM from Him! Such a Cool Signer!
Nice!
Now there’s a guy who enjoys adding ink to cardboard, look at those huge signatures! Thanks Tracy!
Have to admit it was hard to give those away. Hall of Fame signature of a future Hall of Famer!
